My cats shed a LOT - what's a good brush that can help me comb some of it away?

I have a little wire brush but I really need like a vacuum for all the hair that comes off my cat, Pickle! It's insane. Is there something better I can buy?

Try this. I've not used it on cats but it works wonders on my lab/border collie mix, that beast can shed a lot of hair! http://www.amazon.com/FURminator-deShedd…

My cats shed a lot too and I can't recommend the Furminator brush enough. It's amazing! It gets at the undercoat so after a good brush you'll find you've got rid of most of the excess hair. Here's a link (http://www.amazon.com/FURminator-deShedd…). If you want a good vacuum, I'd suggest you try the Dirt Devil M0105 (http://www.amazon.com/Dirt-Devil-M0105-P…). It's purposefully designed for pet hair - a bit loud, but bearable. I'm sure Pickle will be pleased with both of these items too.

Absolutely get yourself a Furminator. I have a cat who can't get enough of it...and a 70 lb. Husky. With this brush, we can take off a shopping bag full of hair each time we brush. It's really amazing. I know they are sold at our Vet but I'm sure you can find one online as well.
