When's The Best Time To Buy

Hello! I was at the class on Saturday and I had a blast! I have a question -- does someone have a list of when to buy what during the year? For example -- canned tomatoes, is there a time of year when they go on sale; frozen foods -- always a sale in January; baking season starting -- time to stock up on flour or was that earlier this year. Does that make sense?

What a great question! Here are some seasonal items I always keep an eye on:

Fall: Pumpkin, Apples, Baking and Canning items.

Winter: Some sales on holiday/seasonal items but mostly they know you HAVE to buy stuff so they don't want to give us good deals.

Spring: Spring vegetables and fruit, gardening and weight loss items

Summer: Summer vegetables and fruit and at the beginning it's specifically Strawberries. BBQ items, like grills and food for having cookouts.

May is a great month to stock up on Memorial Day sales items. The stores will roll out plenty of coupons to bring shoppers into thier stores. Try not to buy a ps3 or xbox 360 right now. Both are about to be updated and prices will drop later this year for the current versions.
