My favorite words are "sale" and "free." I like shopping--but I love finding a great deal even more. I'm mostly about fashion (love scoring designer brands at discount prices) and beauty/skin care (mainly into natural/organic products now). I write for and edit the Savings.com blog and in my spare time (what's that?!!!) I am a TV addict (Dexter, Nip/Tuck, Nurse Jackie, United States of Tara, OLTL), movie fan and yoga practitioner. Oh, and of course shopping and scoring deals!
It should be noted that one of her targets was one of our favorite PF bloggers, PT Money who penned a thoughtful post on Orman's prepaid credit card entitled "What We Need from Suze Orman Instead of Another Celebrity-Endorsed Useless Prepaid Debit Ca...

I agree--much better to actually have something that'll get some use rather than be shoved in the back of your closet and then regifted or donated to Goodwill down the road. Most of the time when I get gifts, a gift receipt isn't included and/or I don't know where the giver purchased it. But I have returned items that were the wrong size/color/style before and if the opportunity presented itself, I'd do it again.

Craigslist is probably a better option. You'll get a local buyer which means you don't have to fuss with shipping, etc.
If Craigslist isn't an option, Woody did a post about alternatives to both Craigslist and eBay a while back: http://www.savings.com/blog/post/Online-…
