After reading an article about the overly processed and totally out of whack American diet, my husband and I have decided to eat more intelligently. What does that mean? More fruits and veggies, less meat and dairy. More cooking, less reheating. More fresh ingredients from the farmer's market, less invisible ingredients that we cannot pronounce. More local ingredients, less ingredients shipped from overseas. The challenge? We have very little time to shop, prepare, and cook. And I imagine we're not the only ones, so I'll be sharing the recipes I discover and tips for eating "green" and saving "green!"
