The free stuff keeps coming this Christmas! My favorite from the list this week is the free video that is emailed from Santa to your child. You get to enter their name, upload a photo, and pick all the good deeds they have done through out the year. Then they get all put together in your video from Santa.

Amazon is giving away free Christmas music downloads everyday until 12/25. If you prefer, 'A Christmas Carol' is free to download. There are a couple of new craft e-books this week if you're looking to create the perfect gift.

Bella Swan and Edward Cullen finally got married. The bittersweet human-vampire love affair now an eternal commitment, well, on Edward's part. He is immortal after all. Bella is human, mortal when she met Edward (if you want to know what happens to the couple, go see the movie, no spoilers here). To birth a human baby quite an undertaking, but birthing a half-vampire baby, well, that is just insane. Bella needs a break.

Doing your holiday shopping online can save you plenty of headaches and stress during the crazy shopping season. Knowing the very best days to shop for a particular item can also save you plenty of cash. If you're familiar with Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving when retailers slash prices, you may have also heard of Cyber Monday, the online version.

But online deals are available on other days as well, if you know what day of the week you should be looking.

Earlier in the week, JSTOR, the company that acts as a gatekeeper for just about every journal article published in academia in the last million years, generously announced that it would no longer charge fees to download works that are in the public domain. Put another way, stuff that is by law free for anyone will now be free for anyone. So we should all be very, very grateful.
