Back in 1996, a skincare entrepreneur with over 30 years experience in the industry founded the Philosophy brand that we all love and adore. Thank you, Cristina Carlino!
Initially, Cristina had developed a skincare line called Biomedic that distributed its products to the world’s leading plastic surgeons and dermatologists. Cristina wasn’t satisfied, though. She wanted to bridge the gap between the products offered specifically at doctors’ offices and those easily attainable by all women. Philosophy was born.
