The addressable ceiling-mount motion detector (AMB-500) achieves superior detection through a special fresnel lens made for 360 detection and a quad element PIR sensor optimized for uniform detection all around its field of view. To ensure trouble-free operation for many years, special attention is given to false alarm immunity against RF, static and electrical transients. The detector uses a two-wire connection to the control panel that helps to reduce installation time and cost. The low current draw of the detector helps maximize the number of devices that can be attached to an addressable loop.
