Partnership for a Healthier America - April 2024

Here at Savings.com, we’re thrilled to announce Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) as our Featured Charity! PHA was founded in 2010 alongside Former First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Initiative. The organization works with partners and supporters across the United States to break down systemic barriers to good food and create a food system that supports a better future for us all.

PHA believes that everyone has the right to good food – food that is affordable, sustainable, nutritious, high-quality, and culturally connected. Because when people have access to good food, they can lead healthy lives free of diet-related diseases.

SavingsCARES will donate $5 to our current campaign’s Featured Charity for every user who downloads our browser extension up to $5,000. From there, the SavingsCARES team works to make commercial agreements with hundreds of top brands. As a result, we're able to offer uncapped donations at no cost to our users, thanks to the generosity of these amazing retailers. The donation total will be shared on this page at the end of the campaign.

Drop by and check out our savingsCARES deals deals throughout the campaign to help show your support for PHA.

What Is Partnership for a Healthier America?

PHA is a national nonprofit ensuring a better food future. They are transforming the food landscape so that American children, families, and adults – especially those disproportionately affected by diet-related diseases – will live healthier lives.

Since 2010, the organization has run transformative initiatives that removed 7 trillion calories and literally tons of salt, fat, and sugar from the national food supply and made water the most purchased beverage in the country. In the last two years, PHA has provided over 33 million servings of produce to communities across America — and they’re just getting started!

Did you know?

* One in 6 Americans lack access to affordable, healthy food and beverage options. * PHA has committed to adding 100 million servings of produce to the marketplace by 2025 and doubling produce consumption in 15 cities by 2030.
