What is the best LED LCD TV out right now?

By "best" I mean either remarkably good price or just good mix of features, quality, and value. Must be 55" or larger, 1080p, 240Hz and LED.

Samsung and Vizio LED LCDs are supposed to be really good (wish I could afford them though!) and you can find a ton of them over at BestBuy. They're not very discounted there, so if you're looking for a deal, maybe try refurbished ones from ECOST. There's a deal up right now for a Vizio 55" TruLED for $1299, which is pretty sweet.

I'm a huge proponent of Vizio tv's. They've given me the most bang for my buck in the past, so while I have not seen the VF551XVT in person I will vouch for it. It's a 55" LED 240Hz 1080p. The reviews I've read from consumers seem much better than cnet's, and even cnet's "cons" weren't bad.

Best value would probably have to go to the LG 55LH90. Now, I know when we think quality, Samsung usually comes to mind but the LG LH90 series have gotten rave reviews, especially considering they're $500+ less than comparable Samsung models.

You'll also need to take into consideration the varying LED technologies. You'll want to go with backlit LED vs edge-lit LED. Backlit LED will get you much deeper blacks, almost on par with plasma.

While everyone agrees Samsung has the best backlit LED screens, they also all agree LG comes in at a close 2nd. And with the price difference between the two, LG almost becomes a no-brainer.

I can't speak for LG's new Infinia line, but now that the LH90s are on their way out, they're cheaper than ever.
