How do I earn money as a Savings.com affiliate?

Savings.com affiliates have the opportunity to earn money in several ways, depending on how you choose to work with us.

Affiliates that promote retail links earn money when a reader clicks through a link (via deep linking, link grabbing, ad units or deal lists) and completes a sale. Each time a customer clicks through an affiliate’s link from us and makes a purchase from that merchant, we share the commission of that sale with the affiliate.

Affiliates that promote our printable grocery coupons earn money each time a reader prints a coupon from our printable coupon gallery or from individual coupon link or embed codes.

Affiliates that participate in our special promotion opportunities earn money for each signup driven for giveaways we host, and they can earn flat “posting bonus” payments if all opportunity requirements are met.

Can I use the Savings.com Affiliate Program tools on multiple sites I own?

Yes, all of our program tools will track prints, clicks, purchases and entries driven, regardless of site domain.

We kindly ask, though, that you let us know all of the sites you own and that you plan to promote our offers on.

Can I share my Savings.com Affiliate Program tools with another party?

No. While sharing is caring, you are not allowed to share your Savings.com affiliate tools with third parties. If you know someone who’s interested in becoming a part of the Savings.com Affiliate Program, you can refer them and earn $5 upon their successful onboarding. Get more details on the Savings DealPro Network referral program here.

If you would like to utilize our tools and features on multiple properties you own, please refer above.

Do you have an XML data feed or an API that I can use?

Yes, we do. If you would like have access to our DataFeed or API, please email us at affiliatepartners@savings.com. Please note that only affiliates with significant monthly visitors will be considered.

Reporting & Payments

When and how do I get paid?

On average, you will get paid 60-90 days after the action or transaction is reported. This allows time for all transactions to clear through the affiliate networks and for any returns/exchanges to clear. All payments are processed via PayPal.

I promoted one of your giveaways, and I’m seeing a ton of clicks in my reports but no conversions. What’s going on?

While you will see clicks in your reporting to the merchant associated with the giveaway, entries driven will not be seen because the entries are tracked internally.
The comments on the your PayPal payment provide the earnings you were paid for any giveaways that were run during the month. Any entries driven after our budget has capped are not calculated in your payment. Comments on these payments are in the following example format: “#KohlsSummerStyle Giveaway”

I completed all requirements of a posting bonus opportunity. Where is my payment, and when will I receive it?

Payments for posting bonus opportunities are including in your monthly PayPal payment.

Due the required manual review process of these opportunities by our team, these payments are usually made the month after the close of the opportunity. The good news is that once the payments are made, the funds are immediately released to your account; there is no locking period.

If six weeks have passed since the close of the opportunity and you still have not received your payment, you likely didn’t fulfill all requirements of the opportunity. If you have any questions about this, please email savingsaffiliates@savings.com.

Transition Off Impact Radius

Why did Savings.com moving off of Impact Radius (IR)?

Our goal is to make our affiliate program as simple and as easy to use as possible. Having reporting and payments run through IR required affiliates to sign into a different website to get information about their performance in our program. We decided it would be easier all around if we moved everything in house so that affiliates only need to sign into Savings.com to get links, iframes, reporting information and more.

What happens if I don’t sign the new contract by the October 31st, 2015 deadline?

If you don’t sign the contract by October 31st, 2015, you’ll lose access to all of our affiliate tools (link grabbing, iframes, printable coupons, giveaways) and to your affiliate profile on Savings.com. Also, you’ll be removed from our mailing lists and from the Facebook groups.

If I don’t sign the new affiliate contract by October 31st, 2015, will I still be paid for sales driven through links and ad units on my site?

No, you will not be paid for sales driven through links and ad units that are already up on your site if you don’t sign the new affiliate contract. However, we’ll still be tracking your sales, so if you choose to sign the new contract at a later date, we’ll release your payment at that time.

I signed up with Savings to participate in sponsored campaigns. Do I need to sign the new contract to continue being considered for sponsored opportunities?

Yes, you need to sign the new Savings.com contract to continue being considered for sponsored campaign opportunities. Those opportunities will now fall under the same contract and payment structure as the affiliate program.

How will you know to which address I want my PayPal payments sent?

There’s a field on the new affiliate contract where you can tell us to which email address you want your PayPal payments sent. If you don’t specify an email address in that field on the contract, we’ll send your payments to the email address we have on file as being associated with your Savings.com affiliate account. If you need to update your PayPal address, please email savingsaffiliates@savings.com.

When should I expect my first payment through PayPal?

All sales driven before October 31st, 2015 will be paid out through IR. All sales driven after November 1st, 2015, will be paid through PayPal.

I have less than $50 in my Impact Radius account, which is lower than the payment threshold. How can I get my money?

Impact Radius will manually release payments that are under $50 if you choose to discontinue working with Impact Radius altogether. Once our insertion orders have all ended, they’ll put together a list of everyone that hasn’t hit the $50 threshold, and their accounting team will issue payments.

My affiliate links look a little different now. Will any old links that are up on my site still work and be tracked as usual?

We did alter the link structure as part of this move off of IR, but your old links will continue to work and to track sales.

My historical reporting data isn’t available on Savings.com. Can I access it somewhere or was it lost in the transition?

Your historical data will not be accessible on Savings.com, but you can still log into IR to view and/or download that data.
