Personal Bio

Sa’iyda has been a bargain hunter for as long as she can remember (probably thanks to weekday morning viewings of ‘The Price is Right’ on sick days and days off). She also would sit with her mom, watching her clip coupons and shop sales. Now, she hasn’t met a sale or bargain she doesn’t like. She knows that the key to saving is to explore all options — whether that means having multiple tabs opened to the same item or going to multiple grocery stores to make sure she’s gotten everything she needs, she makes sure she’s getting the best possible deal with every purchase.

Saving money is an active practice. Because of this, I make sure to regularly check sale circulars. They’re digital now, which helps keep from stacking up more papers around the house, but if you give them a quick skim, you’re going into the store with research and a plan.

Sa’iyda’s Favorite Brands

I absolutely love Old Navy. I am not that into fashion, but I love clothes that are comfortable, colorful, and fit well. Old Navy is great because I can shop for my whole family at one time! I have a son who’s constantly growing, and there’s always a sale, which means I’m saving big every time I have to replace his wardrobe.

I keep going back to Old Navy, but that’s not my only favorite. A few of my other favorites are:

Fun Fact about Sa’iyda

We have five pets in our house! Our cats are named after two of my wife’s favorite comedians: Gilda Radner and Madeline Kahn. And our dog is named Stanley Zbornak after the ‘Golden Girls’ character. My son has two guinea pigs named Sparky and Darkness.
