To understand Cyber Monday 2026 trends, let's first look at past sales for the entire sales weekend. A National Retail Federation study showed that 86% of the 2024 Cyber Weekend spending went toward gifts. Looking toward 2026 sales, Adobe expects this year’s event to hit $14.2 billion, making it the season's biggest shopping day.. Another report from Talker Research states that 56% of surveyed customers plan on shopping during Cyber Monday, with Millennials being most likely to participate (61%).

Regarding categories, Adobe forecasts that electronics, apparel, and home/furniture will drive over half of Cyber Week spending, consistent with last year's numbers. Cyber Monday, specifically, will likely see the highest discounts on electronics and toys. Adobe data predicts that Monday's sales will reach 28% off electronics (vs. 30% in 2024) and 25% off clothing (vs.23% in 2024).
