Steven has been a diehard bargain hunter ever since he graduated college during a crippling global recession. (Who says poor can’t be sexy?) When he’s not scanning the web for stellar e-commerce deals, you can find him sifting through the racks of local thrift stores.

Steven’s Favorite Savings Hack

I grew up with a father who slapped duct tape on his decrepit car dashboard to keep it from falling on his lap while he was driving. My thriftiness is not quite as extreme, but I still like pushing my clothes and electronics to their absolute limits. I’m also a diehard fan of quality generic brands for everything from pantry staples to office supplies.

I seem to have a serious case of wanderlust: over the past few years, I’ve visited 67 cities across Europe. Some of these cities are also great deals (you can often snag a hotel room in a small town in France for half the price of a motel along the U.S. freeway.)
