Walgreens - Frequently Asked Questions
What are Walgreens's best coupons?
Do I have to print out Walgreens coupons?
The days of printing out Walgreens coupons are generally long past. Although you may want to print out some coupons that you would otherwise find in the mail or a weekly circular, Walgreens has made it easier than ever to use coupons and promo codes. Instead of printing anything out, you can use Walgreens’ Paperless Coupons. Clip these coupons online to send them to your Balance Rewards account. When you check out with your Balance Rewards account, you save automatically.
Does Walgreens participate in FSA programs?
FSA programs are all different, so your specific FSA program may vary. However, many products available at Walgreens are eligible for reimbursement from certain types of FSA programs if you have a prescription for the products. You can see all eligible items listed on the confirmation page before you place your online order. When you place your order, Walgreens will provide you with an additional confirmation you can print as a receipt to claim reimbursement from your FSA.
How do I get Walgreens free shipping?
You can get free shipping from Walgreens in a variety of ways. If you reach the minimum dollar subtotal, you’ll receive free shipping on all orders up to 20 pounds. You can also get your order for free if you choose Ship to Store, so you can pick up the order at a local Walgreens. Lastly, you can purchase contact lenses or prescriptions with your order.

Did You Know?
Walgreens started in 1901 as a neighborhood drugstore, a far cry from the thousands of stores that now facilitate an international reach. The story of Walgreens is one of incredible coincidences. Charles Walgreen never intended to be in the pharmacy business, but after an injury ended his sports career, he decided to work for a local pharmacy. Ironically, that experience was mostly negative; he left after only a year and a half and decided to move to Chicago. There were hundreds of pharmacies in Chicago already, but Walgreen wasn't satisfied with any of them, seeing their lack of customer service, small selection of goods, and old-fashioned design. He took things into his own hands and bought the pharmacy he had been working at, changing it to fit his ideal design. With that, the very first Walgreens was born.
Today, Walgreens still functions on the same axes the founder instilled in it. Although it's been constantly updated and changed to fit the modern era and has gone through a variety of stages, including selling milkshakes and offering freshly made food, it's never lost sight of that original mission. The company was founded on the concept of high-quality customer service and a variety of items that other drugstores didn't carry, and even today, that's what it offers to all its customers. It's been pushing the same message since its founding over 100 years ago: customer satisfaction is always key.
Although you can no longer find restaurants in Walgreens, you can find a variety of services that you can take advantage of all in one place. Of course, that includes its two founding services: general goods and prescriptions. Walgreens carries beauty products, personal care items, over-the-counter medications, household items, and more, and each Walgreens has a full-service pharmacy for prescription services. There are also other health services, including vaccinations, healthcare clinics, and a variety of health apps, and even a photo section where you can personalize everything from traditional prints to home décor. Walgreens started as a place where customers could find whatever they needed, and the company embodies that desire even 100 years later.
