Founded in 1997 in San Francisco, California, by Tony Held, Incase makes protective cases for Apple products and other tech devices. Held had a passion for good design, and his mission was to make products for people who love their Macs and use them often. The Incase brand became well-known in Apple stores all over the world, and even designed special cases for the launch of new Apple stores. The company was acquired by Swander Pace Capital in 2010, then by Incipio in 2016, becoming part of the large phone accessory family that includes Braven, Tavik, and Clam Case, while still operating as a standalone company.
