While the COVID-19 pandemic is still a serious concern, businesses are working hard to keep shoppers safe as they head out for Black Friday 2020.
As one of the most popular retailers in the U.S., Target sees lots of guests every day. In an effort to slow the spread of the virus, its stores have made some important changes. Until further notice, guests will be asked to wear a face covering whenever in the store. You’ll also see markers to help you stay distanced from other shoppers.
In addition to increasing sanitation efforts, stores may also be metering access. This means that only so many people will be allowed within a store at one time. If there are too many people, associates will ask you to wait outside until it’s safe to enter.
Select stores are offering dedicated shopping time for older and vulnerable guests. Contact your local store to learn more about its schedule.
Due to increased demand, there may be purchase limits on certain products, such as sanitizer and tissue paper.
You’ll notice plastic partitions at checkout. This is to help you and your cashier maintain a contactless transaction. You may also notice some stores sanitizing carts so they’re clean and ready for your use.
Don’t want to visit a local store right now? Use Target’s easy curbside pickup option, and you won’t have to set foot in the store.
Target has disclosed its Black Friday 2020 plans, and they’re exciting. Due to the pandemic, the store isn’t going to offer its best deals on just one day. Instead, it will spread them out over a month (and maybe a bit longer!).
Target has confirmed that it will release its first Black Friday specials on November 1st. It will continue to release new deals every week. This way, you’ll have plenty of time to snag electronics, clothing and more. Spreading the deals out will also hopefully keep its stores from being overrun.
The retailer also says that it will have exclusive deals that only Red Card or Target Circle members will have early access to. These doorbusters are sure to be hot, so sign up for either program if you aren’t already a member.
Among its first special offers are lots of electronics hot buys. You can snag an Echo Show 5 for $44.99, an Echo Dot for $18.99, Fire TV Cube for $79.99 and Ring Video Doorbell 3 for $139.99.
Moving on to toys, Target is offering a Razor Power A scooter for $149.99, kids bicycles for $74 and Rydon Zoom hoverboards for $99.99.
Ready for some hot kitchen buys? Target isn’t holding back on popular Ninja appliances. You can pick up an air fryer for $99.99, a pressure cooker for $219.99, and an indoor grill for $189.99. It’s also offering a countertop microwave for $99.99 and a Keurig coffee station for $139.99.
If you’re in need of a new vacuum, you’ll find several models starting November 1st. These include a Bissell ClearView for $79.99 and a Hoover WindTunnel Air for $119.99.
Considering that Target will be rolling out new deals every week, the obvious question is: Do you shop now, or do you hope for better deals later? Answer: Shop now, because Target has you covered.
- Target is offering an incredible price-matching policy for its Black Friday event. Starting November 1st and running through December 25th, you’re eligible for a refund if anything you buy later goes on sale for a lower price. This means you don’t have to worry about overpaying.
Traditionally, Target has been open for Thanksgiving. Things will be different this year.
In an effort to avoid overcrowding in its stores, Target has decided it will not be open for Thanksgiving 2020.
Stores will reopen on Friday at 7:00 p.m. so you can continue your shopping through the weekend.
Remember that the store is always open online, so don’t hesitate to do some shopping while waiting for the turkey to cook!
Target hasn’t announced when its Black Friday shopping event will end, but it’s possible the store will keep them going through December to ensure everyone has a chance to get their shopping done.
